There is no question that I have a problem with authority, but force is a consequence of resistance. You can choose to resist authority, but you cannot choose resistance and then bitch about the use of force.
I have, on a few occasions, gone toe to toe with officers of the law. I chose to do so not only when I knew I was in the right, but when I also knew the officer knew (either ethically or legally) I was in the right…yet fully prepared for the exchange to become violent. You have to choose your moments and actions very wisely…and if it turns out that Both sides don’t see that you actually hold the moral high ground in the situation, you damn well better understand that you, yourself, chose the path that leads to physical confrontation.
