My Proposition for Reconstructing the Gun Laws

Here is my proposition on gun control:

We do it like a game show. We begin with everyone having a say.

If you interchange non-synonymous terms in an argument, you get eliminated.

Make up statistical data, you get eliminated.

Misrepresent statistical data, you get eliminated.

Use any of numerous Logical fallacies, you get eliminated.

Argue Religion as a pro or con, you get eliminated.

Make an argument that violates Constitutional rights, you get eliminated.

Misrepresent historical fact, you get eliminated.

Display an ignorance of firearms themselves, you get eliminated.

Use the phrase “common sense gun laws” without presenting a specific law which would statistically supports the existence of such “common sense” law, you get eliminated.

The last person remaining makes the gun laws.

  1. My proposition for Gun Control is the original Gun Control of Section I. Article 8. of the Constitution which makes the distinction between the Army, Navy and the Militia.

The original Militia meaning EVERY MALE 18 to 45 years old who are even to supply their own weapon and are to be trained in the use of those weapons by their home States according to the discipline prescribed by Congress.

For today’s Political Correctness I would also require EVERY FEMALE and LGBT person to also belong to the Militia and supply their own weapon (I’m sure we could work out a payment plan whereby Militia members at 18 could have payments for the supply of their weapon taken out of their Militia paycheck).

Every CITIZEN would then be trained in the proper usage and safety of weapons handling, and every CITIZEN over 18 would have their own M4A1 rifle at home (married couples having two at home).

This would cut down criminal Home Invasions because they would know all homes are armed and trained in how to use those arms effectively.

I’d go a step further and only allowing Citizens to register to vote once they have completed Basic Training for the Militia, and then they would be registered FOR LIFE transferable between States unless they commit a felony sometime.

Anybody who cannot complete Basic Training of the Militia and basic weapons instruction is considered too mentally challenged to own their own weapon, of any kind, and along with Conscientious Objectors (instead of forcing them to run off to Canada) put on the NO BUY LIST for weapons and not allowed to vote (they can still move to Canada if they still want to vote).

Basic Training, btw, for those who haven’t done it teaches more than just weapons training and how to march in PR parades. It teaches things like CPR and how to be a First Responder to accidents, incidents, fires and other emergencies as well as Natural Disasters.

And there is no reason that Basic Training cannot be modified for those who are merely Physically Handicapped but otherwise sound in mind.

Also Basic Training puts most 18-year-olds whom have never competed in school sports into the best physical shape of their lives (which helps cut down on later Health Issues) and the Physical Training is accepted as Physical Education College Credits.

The Bleeding Hearts forget the Founding Fathers founded this country out of the barrels of guns. They should ask God to make the wasps and bees to give up their stings because a few people have allergies and die.

  2. Yes I know I put “Section I. Article 8.” instead of the “Constitution’s Article I. Section 8.” in my previous comment.

But if we didn’t sometime make typos Publishing companies wouldn’t need to outsource editing to copy editors sitting behind white collar computer monitors in India, now would they.
