Five Students in the United States being told they can’t wear Red, White and Blue on the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo? Seriously, WTF? The hispanic Assistant Principal told them they couldn’t wear the colors of the United States flag…because hispanic students were upset about it. Cinco de Mayo is a MEXICAN holiday. In fact, most Mexicans in the United States say that it is Mexican Indpendence Day, which is wrong. Many don’t even know what the holiday is they are celebrating.
This is the United States of America…please tell me why we should be celebrating a victory of the Mexican army over the French, or why Red, White and Blue shouldn’t be worn on May 5th.
